ASUS expected to announce ASUS ZenWatch
By Adeel Inam
A lot of companies have already launched their smart watches including Samsung, Sony and LG while Motorola is still holding on its Motorola Moto 360. Moto 360 might not be the only smart watch this summer to bring something new with it as Asus announced that it’s working on a smart watch of their own known as Asus ZenWatch. Asus ZenWatch is going to be the first smart watch from Asus and is set to launch in September at IFA.
If you don’t know Asus uses the name Zen for their premium products which are very thin and are made of durable material like metal which is going to be the same for Asus ZenWatch but what amazed us was the price that the smart watch will retail for in the market.
According to Focus Taiwan, Jerry Shen the Asus ZenWatch will cost less than $199 which is lower than all the smart watches that are available in the market including the upcoming Moto 360 from Motorola and according to some other reports the smart watch might cost as low as $99 but that does not sound realistic though. He further said that the smartwatch will run the latest Google Android Wear and will also support voice commands.
It would be worth to watch such a smart watch that offers all the features its competitors does but still come at a way lower price than its competitors. Motorola Moto 360 was receiving all the attention till now because of its round shape design but with Asus also announcing their smart watch it looks like Moto 360 might have competition after all.
This is all about the new upcoming ZenWatch from Asus as the company has not leaked out any more details regarding their smartwatch.
