Samsung to offer Galaxy Note 4 ultrasonic cover
It’s confirmed that Samsung is going to launch their Note 4 in the month of September and the new Note flagship smartphone sure has some high end specs as well but that is not all as Samsung always comes up with new accessories for their flagship devices and according to a source one of the accessories is going to be an ultrasonic cover.
The ultrasonic cover is going to help those user who are visually impaired and need something to navigate them around. The ultrasonic cover has a sensor in it which will help the cover detect objects in front of it and its user. The range of the sensor is adjustable though and can be set to short, medium, or long but there is a drawback though the longer the range the narrower is going to be the area covered.
Though the ultrasonic cover will help visually impaired users but it can’t detect drop-offs and according to the source "It cannot replace a cane and should never be used as a mobility aid or substitute for any mobility aid tool. It must always be used in combination with a cane, a dog guide, or a human guide because, by itself, it does not provide information necessary for safe travel."
Samsung ultrasonic cover is going to be launched alongside other accessories as well on September 3rd when Samsung will launch their Samsung Galaxy Note 4 in Berlin. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is said to keep the same 5.7 inch screen found on the Note 3 but with a bumped up resolution of 2,560x1, 440p with a pixel density of above 500ppi. It will also be equipped with Samsung Exynos 5433 processor that scores higher than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor coupled with ARM Mali T760 GPU and 4GB of RAM.
