HTC introduce Desire 510 - a budget friendly 4G smartphone
By Adeel Inam
HTC just added a new smartphone in their Desire family known as the HTC Desire 510. With the launch of this new mid ranged smartphone HTC aims to capture the mid ranged market with their competitive desire smartphones.
HTC first launched their HTC Desire 820 which was a huge success for the company as the demand for the smartphone was very high considering the smartphone had an affordable price and was equipped with a 64-bit processor.
In terms of design the HTC Desire 510 looks like HTC ONE M8 while the smartphone is equipped with a 4.7 inch TFT display that supports a resolution of 854 x 480. What’s interesting about the mid ranged smartphone is that it’s equipped with a 64-bit processor and comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor. The smartphone is also equipped with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage with micro SD card expansion slot though the camera on the smartphone is not up to the expectations as its equipped with a 5MP VGA camera.
The smartphone does come with a good set of specs but both the camera and the screen on the smartphone are disappointing but it should be expected from a smartphone that costs $250. Samsung hasn’t been doing well lately because of the amount of segments it has in the market and is even planning to lower them by the next year. This is where companies like HTC would come and shine as there is a big need for affordable smartphones and HTC did well with their HTC Desire 820, so same should be the case with the new HTC Desire 510.
The smartphone is also good for those who wants to enjoy the blazing fast speeds of 4G LTE under an affordable price tag.
