Samsung's new Galaxy Alpha will be the toughest smartphone yet by the company
According to Samsung, their Samsung Galaxy Alpha is their toughest Galaxy smartphone yet and the company was able to achieve that by using a metal frame instead of plastic. Samsung just recently announced their Galaxy Alpha smartphone while there were rumors before its launch. There will be two version available including a quad core and an octa-core version depending on the country it’s sold in.
Though there is still no price or official launch date mentioned by Samsung but some websites have already started taking preorders with a confirmed launch in September. Samsung Galaxy Alpha is not only made of metal but it’s the slimmest smartphone as well at 7mm and the sides of the metal frame on the Samsung Galaxy Alpha are curved as well which means that the smartphone can take a few drops and still survive unlike the smartphones that are made of plastic.
Many users are against Samsung using plastic in the manufacturing of their smartphone. According to the users by using plastic a premium smartphone doesn’t feel premium at all including the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S5. Samsung did made some changes by using a fox leather back instead of shinny plastic on their Galaxy Note 4 but that was nothing special compared to their Galaxy Alpha smartphone which is made of metal.
According to Samsung the reason why they use plastic is because it’s more durable than both glass and metal and doesn’t heat up as much as metal does as well. Samsung is going to introduce a new design with their Galaxy Alpha smartphone and is going to launch more as well after the launch of their Galaxy Alpha probably depending on how consumers would react to a metal Galaxy smartphone.
Samsung is going to launch their Galaxy Note 4 on September 3 while Samsung Galaxy Alpha is rumored to launch on 9th of September.
